I found this one in yesterday’s Metro: Fighting Back: A Live BENLYSTA Educational Event
Human Genome Sciences, Inc. and The GlaxoSmithKline Group of Companies. are hosting a series of events in various cities to promote and educate people about the lupus drug, Benlysta. According to their website, they’ll have a rhuematologist, an infusion nurse and a patient currently taking Benlysta to answer questions.
The events are free and slated for mid-May. If you’re curious about Benlysta and whether or not it could be a good treatment for you, this is a great way to get some answers. You can register online through the Benlysta website. If you can’t reach one of the main event locations (NY, Chicago and LA), they have a list of satellite locations where a Clinical Nurse Educator will be present to field questions.
Again, you can register through the website or, even over the phone. I’ll be at the NYC/Long Island event on May 15 – comment if you’ll be there too!
Disclosure Notice: Nobody from either Human Genome Sciences, Inc. or The GlaxoSmithKline Group of Companies has offered me one thin dime to post about this event.
