It’s been a busy summer so far, readers. I got a little work and a heap of bad health news.
In the past few weeks, I’ve been treating a wicked, 4-month long bout of plantar fasciitis, was diagnosed with sky-high cholesterol (277! Crazy!) and high blood pressure and medicated accordingly. And while it’s huge bummer and setback from where I want to be with my health, it’s also motivation to push myself harder, make more drastic changes and seek new avenues for better well-being.
However, nobody knows better than us lupies that health is a full-time job. So while I’m taking a break and regrouping, the Life Despite Lupus blog will also be taking a vacation. There will be no new updates until September 15th (so mark your calendars!). I plan to come back with loads of stories from my own treatments and experimentation, some new interviews and maybe even a new look for the blog.
My email subscribers (both here and through FeedBurner) will be getting occasional updates via email on what I’m up to, including any great resources or events I happen to come across. I also invite you lovely people to send me your feedback on what kind of posts you’d like to see on this blog – I’d love to hear from you!
